This job requires current experience corporate travel experience and is not entry level. You must also have a solid work history with excellent references, Sabre and writing skills assessment are required.
Qualifications:
Experienced agent with a background in handling single or multi accounts
Experience in International and domestic travel
Experience in ticketing
Proficiency in email systems, outlook, google products and overall knowledge of technology.
Must be able to work on a team or autonomously.
Must be able to “Think outside of the Box” and effectively use all resources available now and in the future.
Excellent Customer Service, Highly Organized, Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.
Job Description
Corporate Travel Consultant
· Works with corporate clients with set/multiple accounts and work within each corporate accounts travel policies/requirements.
· Building positive relationships with business clients.
· Book and ticket travel itineraries based on clients' requests via telephone or email requests in a timely and efficient manner
Dealing with complex itineraries
· Building long term relationships with corporate clientele
Requirements:
· Excellent customer service skills mandatory.
· Proficient using Sabre
· Confidentiality a must. Able to work with some high-profile clientele.
· Proactive thinking, troubleshooting, problem solving
· Multi tasked, detail oriented, great follow thru, organizational skills
· Able to communicate effectively (excellent verbal and grammar and written skills)
· Work effectively in a small teamwork environment
· Domestic travel knowledge & logistics, travel planning & scheduling, data entry skills, able to take initiative, general math skills, problem solving, Proactive thinker
General duties Include but not limited to:
· Schedules itinerary by identifying, booking, and confirming route, carriers, preferred airline seating, airline status upgrades, lodging, car rental or car service.
· Update traveler profile information and keep current
· Use agency preferred suppliers when applicable
· Ongoing itinerary management due to schedule changes, airline flight cancellations, flight delays.
· Completes foreign travel requirements by verifying visa and passport regulations by country of transit and destination when needed.
· Manage/charge proper CORP service fees.
· Process all ticket refunds/voids/exchanges in GDS.
Technical/ Software/Affiliates:
GDS- Sabre, test to be administered, MS office products, mid office and back-office tools.
