Job Description

Gant Travel is looking for someone with travel agent/Amadeus experience to move into a quality control help desk position of sorts. This position is an excellent step for those who are looking to grow from being a travel agent or supervisor into an 'expert' role to help resolve unusual issues as they arise and fielding lots of questions around Amadeus, ticketing, helping on debit memos, etc. Looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves, dig in to find resolutions and fixes, and would like to be considered the escalation point/source for a variety of topics. A unique way to use your knowledge to help others improve their skills and service capabilities.

  • Provide expertise & support for troubleshooting of issues related to the technology stack (Salesforce, Amadeus, and TalkDesk)
  • Create and keep procedure and process documentation updated
  • Escalate requests and issues to the appropriate internal team in an efficient manner
  • Ability to work and communicate with a variety of personalities
  • Use the company's suite of tools for customer interactions to provide management with status of activity, including progress and obstacles
  • Ensure prompt response to customer email and phone communications
  • Respond to management requests for information, explanations, training issues, and other support requests
  • Participate in on-going process review of operational procedures, working toward automation of all possible functions
  • Work closely with all teams to develop and implement “best-in-class” customer solutions
  • Participate in a continual learning environment and on-going training

Required Experience:

  • Amadeus or Sabre experience - 3 years+
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with Compleat or IQCX processes preferred
