TripMatters, Inc. in Tustin, California is seeking a full time corporate and air specialist travel agent to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years corporate travel agent experience and lots of ambition. Must be driven to deliver incomparable service to our corporate clients and our independent contractor agents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of corporate or air ticketing experience using Sabre required
- Knowledge of international contracts required
- Proficient with international itineraries and rate structures required
- Proficient with exchanges, profiles and phase iv required
- High school graduate or higher
- Customer service focused – consistently going above and beyond to deliver an amazing experience
- Organizational and detail oriented agent with the ability to juggle competing priorities and ability to shift gears when needed
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build strong business relationships
- A problem solver who thinks outside of the box to provide creative solutions
- Be a team player but also able to produce quality work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Outgoing and enthusiastic, with a go-getter personality and a positive outlook
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality required
Responsibilities:
- As a Corporate Travel Consultant you will be responsible for managing the day-to- day travel needs of corporate business accounts, and assisting our independent contractor agents with airline reservations and ticketing
- Assist in making professional and accurate business travel arrangements for our corporate accounts including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations
- Follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards
- Work as a team member and assist other agents as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client
- Build and maintain strong working relationships
- Provide solutions to travel related problems clients may experience
