The Manager of Corporate Travel provides account management and oversight of Travel Management Company and supervises the company's travel technology, duty of care and the supervision of the Corporate Travel Policies. The Manager of Travel demonstrates a strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills and drives the travel system operations alongside supporting technology. The Manager of Corporate travel provides management to company on end-to-end management and demonstrates experience in managing multiple technology systems, integrations and influencing company spend culture. Essential Job Functions: Manage operations and implementation of travel technology with internal FINRA systems; Expense reporting system (Concur and Workday) Accounts payable and American Express corporate credit card program Virtual Credit Cards and Business Travel Credit Card Cvent integrations for committee travel. Security SOS system for duty of care of all FINRA travelers Evaluate, recommend and implement new technology to improve and enhance traveler experience and improve effectiveness of travel program. Manage direct report of support position. Develop and govern travel policies to be compliant within FINRA criterion People Solutions (integration with employee database) Legal (duty of care and vendor contracts) Internal Audit (oversight of policy adherence) Data Security and information security Corporate Communications for both internal and external notifications Tax department (to report on taxable travel benefits in compliance with SOX). Provide data analysis on travel activity for internal stakeholders to identify areas of excessive spend, and to reduce travel expense and volume. Provide Financial Planning Benchmark by analyzing, monitoring and reporting on travel expenditures and compliance corporate wide. Reporting of executive travel dashboards on travel metrics, trends along with exception reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Create SOP documents for all corporate wide travel processes. Oversee with Company/Traveler to resolve outstanding issues and bring them to resolutions. Assist with Finance Department for smooth integration of corporate card program, expense reporting system along with travel provider and on-line tools. Assist the Meetings Department to provide Strategic Travel support in areas of the SMMP. Design and implement travel training/webinars for travelers and travel arrangers as needed. Communicate complex and actionable concepts at a senior executive level. Manage travel category management, i.e. airlines, hotels, car rentals, ground transportation, extended stay travel, companion travel, traveler security, traveler security programs. Oversee transient travel of approximately 97% domestic and 3% international. Manage RFP Program for all transient travel annually. Oversight of FINRA Preferred hotel program and spending guidelines. Position is considered essential during emergency and crises circumstances resulting in ability to work beyond business hours when needed. Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentration and seven years’ travel industry experience with both domestic and international exposure, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Proficiency in GDS, OBT and T&E expense systems. Demonstrate proficient knowledge of travel industry practices and integration with corporate technology systems. Concur Travel experience required. Workday experience a plus. Project Management experience. Ability to take direction but still self-manage. Ability to manage others. Ability to share confidential information in an organized and professional manner. Familiarization with Microsoft Office Suite. Detail oriented. Able to understand and meet deadlines and goals.
