What we do;

Kognitiv is paving the way for the next era in B2B collaborative commerce - enabling consumer and hospitality brands to engage deeply and securely with their customer base. Brands can collaborate with suppliers and value-added partners, providing customers with personalized experiences.

These opportunities are packaged and marketed to consumers through complete programs, backed by Kognitiv’s technology resources, applications, and expertise.

About the role;

With our Head Office in Toronto and global offices in the UK, EMEA & APAC we are looking for a commercially minded manager in the air fare field to complement our existing global aviation team. From entrepreneurial roots, we have significant growth ahead of us and are looking for outstanding people to come and join an established team of industry experts.

In this newly created role you will hold operational responsibility for the day to day account management of the airline portfolio and will report into the Head of Operations.

Your specific accountabilities will include the following (but not be limited to);

  • Suport the portfolio of key airline supply accounts whilst building strong business relationships
  • Ensure all commercial deals are maximised to exceed targets
  • Analyse sales performance of airline supply partners and ensure the business is up to date with sales performance, issues and opportunities
  • React to any aviation issues that may arise, and liaise with relevant departments to adopt collaborative working
  • Ensure airline tactical offers are promoted in an effective and timely manner
  • Oversee the distribution of all airfares through the GDS and in-house systems
  • Oversee the aviation development and distribution strategy working closely with IT to ensure the company is consistently competitive and looking to the future
  • Create, develop and implement standard operating procedures
  • Collaborations with aviation and other trading partners

You are a strong communicator who passionately brings your team together to work collaboratively towards a joint goal. You will be a master of prioritisation and have the ability to understand the finer details as well as the larger overview of Kognitiv’s strategy. Your background in travel will enable you to feel like an integral part of the Kognitiv team in no time!

  • Excellent account management and relationship skills
  • Advanced GDS knowledge is essential
  • Previous experience from a similar role
  • Great commercial awareness
  • Highly skilled communicator
  • Impressive experience in international relationship building
