We take pride in being the leader in our industry. You may work for a huge corporate travel agency, well that is not Road Rebel. We are not saying that’s a bad thing, maybe you work from home (and we are not saying you couldn’t work from home at RR), what we are saying is that working at RR means you are with a fun, cool, great group of people who work several travel/logistical services for the entertainment and sports industries. Our office is not a cubicle hell. It is a wide open, concrete and steel space with music playing, dogs running around, and a huge projection TV on the wall playing sports and entertainment. Working alone at home staring into SABRE world all day might be fine for some instead of working with cool people doing interesting things in a killer environment, but for others, we are a more interesting, exciting, and opportunity-flexible than not.
If you are working from home, talking with a few people, or just pumping out air reservations, semi-anonymously, or anonymously, and have had enough, we are highly interested in you. Again, we are not saying you cannot work from home, but we would love you involved in the Rebel world with opportunities to advance in many areas…if you want.
If you simply want the same travel agency job, just a different place, this, with all respect, is probably not for you. We are not just another stop along the way. We want fired-up professionals on our team – people who want to help continue to build something special. Road Rebel is a total team effort with plenty of cross-training and opportunities for upward mobility…if you want it! There is independence, but you have total team support, interaction and camaraderie. We are a business family.
Of course, you would have your own clients, but the variety of clients depends on what type of entertainment or sports you enjoy or prefer. You could also work with a team helping each other with groups, private planes for celebrities or athletes, or chartered planes, and then individuals at all levels, VIPs or roadies flying commercially. We have airline contacts and can negotiate rates and present the best travel options for either group or individual reservations. There is plenty of international travel, some using consolidators for higher classes, some with the major carriers. If you have not worked with all these types, that is where our training and support comes in.
We love when your ability to work independently, with a professional attitude and display responsible qualities at all times is innate. You would be a superstar here! Handling any air travel related issues that may arise during after-hours (via mobile) in the event of an emergency, proves your exceptional level of client commitment and satisfaction that we are lauded for.
