Job Description

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has a combined skill of travel operations, managing people and networking.

The responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Provide overall customer service and support for the agent team
  • Must be versed with the following:
  • Agency Operations
    • Agresso or similar accounting system
    • Internet
    • E-mail / MS Office
  • Familiar with the following:
    • GDS-Sabre a plus
    • Internal and external publications available to the agents
  • Ensure that office supplies such as ticket stock, marketing materials, etc. are available at all times
  • Develop a friendly rapport with local landlord / building management and report any immediate concerns.
  • Assist ICs with reconciling receivables, outstanding commissions, and personal commission statements
  • Ability to support questions on the above for the office
  • Provide supplemental training to agent staff
  • Perform staff analysis and evaluate staff performance/productivity
  • Identify areas of improvement with agents and assess knowledge of experience and make recommendations where training should be required or needed
  • Full understanding of company policies and procedures including business processes
  • Continue to build strong relationships with all vendors for your local branch
  • Become involved with local community events
  • Assist in seeking growth opportunities for the office including clients as well as ICs
  • Set up regular vendor visits for the office
