THIS POSITION IS BASED IN NASHVILLE TENN AND IS NOT VIRTUAL. THIS POSITION REQUIRES KNOWLEDGE OF THE CORPORATE TRAVEL OR HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.
The Travel Client Manager will develop a strategic management of corporate accounts, obtaining input from senior leadership as needed. The Business Travel Client Manager will manage client’s vendor relationships and leverage vendor spend to negotiate future services as well as providing annual travel program reviews.
Experience within the corporate travel or hospitality industry is a must
Consistently works toward client retention, satisfaction, and business growth.
Demonstrate an ability to analyze client travel data and articulate results in the delivery of annual travel program reviews. Tell the story the data supports.
Engage your client travel managers regularly regarding competitive market driven tools and products to enhance and drive savings within their managed travel program.
Understand and communicate operational needs to both internal and external clients in the key areas of the travel program with best practices to enhance service delivery. Your most important asset is the ability to mediate. You will support the concerns of your clients to internal team members as well as support your internal team solutions back to the client.
Independently develop, implement, and manage a Strategic Business Plan for assigned clients as required, in accordance with set strategic goals.
The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (relevant experience will be considered)
Be very comfortable in Excel and analyzing accounting reports.
Highly prefer at least five years with travel industry experience.
A thorough knowledge of account management, client relations, and business management are essential.
The candidate must have a strong client service orientation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience using management information systems.
