Job Description

As a Travel Specialist, you’ll couple your product knowledge and planning skills with our lead management and sales process specializing in the Destination Wedding and Honeymoon space. We are looking for an agent with proven sales success who will be focused on selling travel. 

Adopt a new way of working with prospective clients, including a rigorous protocol for follow up on initial leads as well as quotes and proposals.

Collaborate with the Lead Development Team to continuously improve the continuity of communication with, and expectations to, the prospective client

Follow company procedures in areas of customer service, booking systems, documentation, pricing, insurance, invoicing, etc.

Provide exceptional customer service resulting in brand equity for the company

Build and maintain strong client relationships (new and existing)

Provide your customers with recommendations for destination, supplier choice, and itinerary recommendations that support The Company’s preferred supplier lineup.

Consult with clients on various insurance, hotel, and other additional options.

Address client issues and concerns. Represent the company professionally by offering competent advice and working directly with suppliers to resolve issues.

Perform client communications (email/phone/U. S mail) in accordance with various sales campaigns.

Communicate to Sales and Support teams all pending issues, client requests and items that may need attention while out of the office.

  • College degree or Travel School preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in servicing Destination Wedding and Honeymoon clientele
  • Proven customer service and sales skills, proactive with clients
  • GDS experience required, Worldspan preferred
  • Critical thinking skills to resolve customer issues
  • Ability to recognize when management involvement is necessary
  • Proven ability to foster and value client and team relationships
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
