Air Planning Advisor   Our Growing Air Department seeks an Air Planning Advisor with current travel industry experience in our high volume Call Center.  The Air Planning Advisors role is to assist consumers and Travel Agents who wish to customize their airline reservations. The successful candidate will receive six weeks paid training before transitioning to the Air Team. If you enjoy a challenging career in a fast paced environment and are Customer Service focused we look forward to welcoming you aboard!   Job Responsibilities   Handle inbound and outbound calls from reservations/consumer/travel agents Secures air booking per request and contacted rates, accurately books/prices all contract type  bookings/fares Communicates Viking Cruises policies and procedures Quote and collect additional fees Re-check stored fares in bookings and add as needed Review airline schedule changes, and advise guest as necessary. Ensure updates to bookings are made accurately and timely Process air cancellations and other related services promptly Availability to work variable shifts, including weekends (pre-scheduled)   Experience and Knowledge:   Travel industry experience Sabre or Apollo GDS system experience Knowledge of international fare construction and airline routing principles High school diploma required.
